 ~ Why ~
These are the perfect set for having a painting party with toddlers to teens as there is an ample supply of brushes, cups, and palettes. I like that there are both round and flat brushes as well as many different sizes. Having the palettes with 7 small sections for paint plus the large sections for mixing makes them easy to use.

~ Why Not ~
Some children may not like painting as it can be messy. Others may wish the brushes were made of horse or sable hair so they would last longer. The palettes are on the small side of 6.4 by 4 inches, but may work well for children.

~ Wish ~
I wish that paints or a case to hold the items came in the collection, but it is not a deal breaker.
