Great short leash

I purchased this Nuheby dog leash because I plan to get a new puppy soon and I needed a good leash for training classes when the time comes. The product arrived on time and the packaging was undamaged. The product also arrived in perfect condition. I was pleased by the packaging and the undamaged product, as I was concerned because of how affordable the leash was at on $7.99 on Amazon with prime shipping available. I usually prefer the retractable leashes so that I can control how much length my dog has at any given time, but this leather leash will still be a nice addition to my pet supply collection.

This black leash is short and hardy, with a decent metal clip that should hold up to most small or medium dogs. The leash is leather and stainless steel and is approximately four feet long from tip of handle to tip of clasp. There is a small metal dog charm on the leash which is a cute touch that helps to personalize the leash. The leather stretched very slightly the first time I let one of my current dogs use the leash, but there is no sign of damage and the stretching was minimal.  The handle is large and easy to hold without being rough on your hands like so many cloth dog leashes can be.

Overall, I really like this dog leash. It seems very sturdy, although not long enough for a bigger dog, and it should make a great training leash for our new puppy once he arrives. I would definitely recommend this leash for smaller breeds, but I would hesitate to recommend it for large dogs and even larger medium dogs simply because of how short the leash is for ease of use. It will not give your dog much maneuverability though, so just be aware of that drawback. It will definitely help to keep your dog near you on a walk in the park, in a training class, or even just on an average trip to the pet store. For a small dog, I would give this leash a 5 of 5 stars!
