There are arrows on both the lights and the remote sensor and power cord so it is put together correctly. 16 colors that you can adjust the brightness of and 4 different patters that you can adjust the speeds on with the remote.The back of the light strip has a sticky backing so it can be mounted almost anywhere.The ONLY reason this got 4 star instead of 5 is due to the usb end to power.
