Flimsy and thin

When I was in high school I was always on the hunt for something like this to carry all of my pictures in that I had collected of my classmates. I would have loved having this at that time, though it only has 12 card pockets in it. But of course times have changed... Most people don't bother carrying pictures any more since they have them on their phones, so I am not sure how many people would use this for something like that. And if you have credit cards and such, you probably already have a regular wallet. I wouldn't want to carry an additional card holder alongside my wallet. So for most people this is not something they would likely buy. I only picked it up because I do have some older cards and keepsakes I have saved from my school days and teaching. I have all of my old school id cards, my college id, my first driver's license, my teacher id cards, etc. in this, tucked away in my cedar chest with other keepsakes and memories. I was a bit disappointed with the quality, though. It works well for what it was designed for, but it is not as thick and durable as I would like. The clear pockets are flimsy and would easily tear with too much use. My old ones from high school were far thicker and used to rip easily, so these are going to be very hard to keep intact. But luckily I am not using this for every day use where I have cards coming in or going out. Since it IS only a memory item, I decided to pick up a 2nd one for my collection of loyalty and rewards cards that i have tucked away in a drawer in the other room. I have both the pink card holder and the red one. They have a faux leather cover over them that snaps shut and holds it together, though I wonder how long that would last with frequent use, too.
