Very Happy No Regrets

I'm very impressed with this device. I've cut my own hair for over a decade, and have a couple of Wahl trimmers that are bulletproof. On a recent trip that was unexpectedly extended, I had to buy a trimmer. I bought a cordless Wahl set that was over twice the price of this trimmer even though it was on sale, and was shocked when I got it home... it vibrated and was so noisy that I couldn't stand the thought of using it. Truly a smh moment for a fine American company.

I returned that device and looked to see what was available on Amazon. This one seemed to stand out, and the price was unbelievably low. To my delight, it seems to be the excellent value that the other reviews state. The heft is a little bit light and plasticky for my tastes, but you can see good engineering and design decisions throughout. Most of all, it's is exceedingly quiet... significantly quieter than my classic Wahls, and quieter than I thought a clipper could be.
