This is an epic bedspread. My wife has been wanting a cabin quilt for some time, and until I can trek to snowy Minnesota and find a hand made one in some back woods shop, this will scratch her itch aesthetically.
It has the look, but is super light weight, and not overly hot. I’m a hot sleeper myself, and I can comfortably sleep under this cover and not over heat. That is really nice, because I am incapable of sleeping without a cover. I just can not do it. This gives me just enough weight to make that part of my brain relax, while letting me stay cool.
It’s going to be perfect this fall.
It is huge too. It generously covers the king sized bed. That is important, since nothing ruins the loom like when it won’t cover, or just barely does.
The stitching is nice and solid. It will stand up to repeated washing’s and line drying a tl truly get broken in over the years. Very comfortable.
