As a paper/card trimmer this unit is light, has a small footprint for easy storage and cuts very cleanly. However, for MY use, I found it difficult to accurately cut to a line because of the way the cutting mechanism works. The cutter slides between two plastic rails, with a (approx) 10mm gap. The cutting line is between this 10mm gap. There is a very light 'blade housing' line which would indicate where the cut would be made but one the paper is in place, that line is not visible. This means that when offering up a sheet of A4 it is more guesswork than skill that you end up cutting down the line.
I'm not criticising this as a paper cutter, for that task it does a mighty fine job, but for very accurate cutting I'd look for an action which cuts along a well defined edge which you can see from the top.
