Be advised container is small but will last for a very long time and you get a lot more beads for the price.
They are quite addictive to play with for kids and adults and honestly I can't even get enough of these. These are fun multipurpose and multi sensory beads. In the past I've made few projects with them such as...
... Air fresheners: put water beads in container add water and few drops of fragrance or essential oil. My personal favorite citrusy ones. Add extra mixture when beads start dehydrating
... They make gorgeous inexpensive centerpieces with flowers, floating candles, led candles you name it.
... Grow plants like lucky bamboo and tulip bulbs in them
... Lots of fun sensory diy stuff: balloons (clear ones best) fillied with them were hit with my kids and was surprisingly satisfying squishing one of those even for me!!! Plastic bottles filled with small objects (beads, stars, glitter) and water beads were also a hit.
My kids love when I separate clear beads and place them in a clear Pyrex bowl filled with water. Beads appear invisible in it and it's like a magic to them lol
These can keep my kids quiet and occupied for a while and long enough for me to get a little break.
Quality wise I did not see any difference from the ones I've purchased at Michaels or other stores and price wise you get a lot more with this for your buck.
Advice: For your own sake keep this out of small kids reach. In the past my oldest when she was 3 had a brilliant idea of dumping water beads in a tab (thanks to YouTube). Long story short I hated my life that day lol I spent few hours unclogging the drain with drain snake as I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars by calling a plumber.
Caution: Watch your littlest not to put beads in their mouth or rub eyes while using them. Must wash hand after use. Even though companies claim they are not toxic you Never know what chemicals can be in those and if ingested it may cause blockage in intestines as beads can keep expanding.
