My femail German likes to hike and she needs protection for her paws. Plus when it gets hot the pavement can burn her paws, so this shields her paws from the hot pavement. Great and water proof. I give them 5 stars. They have a strap that wraps around the ankle and keeps them securely on. they won't fly off when my dog is running. they allow air flow through the mesh fabric. I love the blue color! see picture.
