HiQuick 8-Bay Battery Charger

One of my New Year resolutions was to try and be greener to help save the world's resources and I am now using rechargeable batteries and when I saw this charger which can charge up to 8 AA or AAA batteries at a time I thought that this would be a useful replacement for my old charger.This battery charger will only work with Ni-MH & Ni-CD AA & AAA  batteries.

The charger comes in a box with a user guide and a micro USB to USB cable which you need to use to power the charger by plugging the cable into USB port on adapter plug (not supplied) or a port on a laptop or anything with a 5 volt output including a smartphone charger.

The charger has 8 x bays where each battery can be charged independent of the batteries in the other bay. Each bay has its own charge indicator to let you know when each battery if fully charged. You can also mix AA and AAA batteries when charging which will useful as I use batteries of both types.This charger also has several safety protections to prevent over charging, over heating etc which gives me confidence in leaving it charging my batteries. I've used this several times now with my own batteries and although taking slightly longer than my old charger to charge ( probably because my old charger only took 4 batteries) I still find the ability to charge 8 batteries at once outweighs the slightly longer charge time.
