There is not much to be said for a cat5 cable, so this review may not be long and wordy. But it is a well made cable that does exactly what it is intended to do. It has a plastic sheeth on the outside of the wiring and has plastic ends with the little tabs you push to lock it in place or remove them. The length is shorter, being only a 3 foot length. I picked it up because I wanted to take one of my longer cables from the back of the router and cable box to use elsewhere and didn't need a super long cable connecting the two. I probably could have gotten away with an even shorter length, but 3 foot is better than the 6 foot we had back there already. There has been no data loss or interuption. It has worked perfectly. I am happy.
