You simply either crack a whole egg into the cup or you can scramble other ingredients like peppers, onions, cheese, etc. As long as you follow the directions and put oil in first, they slide right out with no issue. You can control the cooking to soft, medium and hard. It comes out easy and you can add variety by adding ingredients. The shape of the cooked egg is perfect. Overall, this egg cooker makes breakfast time easy - I love the egg cooker!
