Best carrier ever

I was in desperate need of a good carrier for the little pocket kitty we have since it was time to take her in to the vet to be spayed. We waited as long as we could for her to grow and gain some weight and when she finally reached 5lbs we scheduled to get her in to be fixed before she could get her first heat. But I didn't have any carriers to take her back in so she could have her stitches removed since the garage kitty (who weighed in at 12lbs last time I took him in and he has almost doubled in size since then) busted the zipper on my last soft sided carrier (which we didn't know until we got to the vet and had to hold it shut with our hand). Luckily this carrier came up in possible review items and I immediately snapped it up. And this one is so much better than the last. It has zippers on the sides and on top, so you can put the pet in from either end or from the top. It is nice and wide for them with mesh breathing panels on the sides and top. It has nice sturdy handles to grip on top or a shoulder strap you can attach. I love the additional slide in pet bed for it. It is fuzzy and soft, with a harder bottom that helps add more structure and stability to the bottom of the carrier. And better yet, it velcros in place so you don't have to worry about it sliding around if the pet's weight shifts during travel or they scratch at it. Our kitty hopped right in and explored when I set it up. Even with her E-collar on, she was able to get in and out on her own and explore. She had no problem going back to the vet to have the stitches removed. She was comfy in the carrier both there and back, being so much happier on the return trip since the stitches were gone and the collar removed. I am very pleased with this carrier and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an airline approved, foldable pet carrier. This one is by far my favorite I have used so far with all of my pets!
